As long as your shareholding meets certain criteria, the change will take place straightaway.
If you don't have a Santander Shareview Portfolio, you will need to let us know the change by phone or by post.

Please ensure you follow the instructions on the form carefully and then post this to:

If you are unable to complete and send a form to us, a written request will be accepted. Please ensure that the following information is included:
- Instruction from and original signature of the first named shareholder or legal representative;
- Name(s) of shareholder(s);
- The previous and new address; a shareholder can choose any address to which their shareholding(s) is/are to be registered;
- Shareholder Reference(s) in which the shares are held (this can be found on the Santander Nominee Service statement or on any previous correspondence we have sent you).
We will process your change of address request within 5 days of the receipt of your form. You may not receive a letter after your Change of Address has been requested. This should not be of concern.
For security, the request needs to be sent by post.
Either download and complete a Change of Address form or send the request on company-headed paper.

An instruction and original signature from the authorised corporate signatory stating the capacity in which they sign (such as Director, Secretary, or authorised signatory);

Solicitors can also make the Change of Address request providing they sign and provide details of their authority to sign.
If the current sole shareholder or one of the joint shareholders has died, the death will need to be formally registered before the change of address can take place. For more information, click here.
