The Santander Dividend Re-investment Plan (“the new DRIP”)

The new DRIP offers you, as a shareholder in the Santander Nominee Service, a simple way to use your Santander cash dividend payments to purchase additional Santander shares, to increase your shareholding.

How does the new DRIP work?
If you choose to join the new DRIP, you will receive further Santander shares rather than a cash payment.

Whole shares are purchased and any residual money is rolled over and added to the next cash dividend. However, if the amount available to re-invest, after the deduction of costs, is not enough to purchase one whole share, then no costs will be charged to you and the whole of your dividend will be carried forward to the next cash dividend payment.

When you buy shares through the new DRIP we will send you a statement confirming the purchase details as well as your dividend confirmation.

How do I join?

You can join the new DRIP by logging into your Santander Shareview portfolio here. Then visit the ‘My Investments’ section, click on ‘View’ and ‘Dividend Election’ to make your choice.

If you haven’t already registered, it’s simple to do so here. After registering, and when you have received your activation code through the post, just log-in and follow the directions above.

You can also download an application form here, or you can request a form to be sent to you by calling the Shareholder Helpline.
