The Santander Dividend Re-investment Plan (“the DRIP”)

The DRIP offers you, as a shareholder in the Santander Nominee Service, a simple way to use your Santander cash dividend payments to purchase additional Santander shares, to increase your shareholding.

How does the DRIP work?

If you choose to join the DRIP, you will receive further Santander shares rather than a cash payment.

Whole shares are purchased and any residual money is rolled over and added to the next cash dividend. However, if the amount available to re-invest, after the deduction of costs, is not enough to purchase one whole share, then no costs will be charged to you and the whole of your dividend will be carried forward to the next cash dividend payment.

Statements will be made available in your Santander Shareview Portfolio each quarter, informing you of the cash balance held on your behalf in the DRIP and/or showing you the details of your share purchases through the DRIP. More information about DRIP statements and the options available can be found here.

How do I join?

You can join the DRIP by logging into your Santander Shareview portfolio below. Once logged in visit the ‘My Investments’ section, click on ‘View’ and ‘Dividend Election’ to make your choice.

Please read all available information carefully before applying to participate in the DRIP and, if you are in any doubt as to what action to take, please consult with appropriate independent advisers.
