Your first steps
As the administrator of an estate you have two options. You can either:
- transfer the shares into the names of the beneficiaries
- or sell the shares altogether
Your first step is to write to us and tell us which of these two options you'll be taking. Your letter should be sent to:

Once we receive your instructions, we'll put a temporary marker on the register. This will ensure that, wherever possible, we don't issue further dividend payments in the shareholder's name. We'll also send you the forms you need to complete.
