Am I eligible to open an ESA?


The ESA is available to people aged 18 or over who are 'ordinarily resident' (that is, who normally live) in the UK (not including the Channel Islands and Isle of Man) for tax purposes. You must have a personal UK bank or building society current account with a Direct Debit facility. This account is not available for trusts, business purposes or charities.
