It is not compulsory to set up a Direct Debit on your ESA, however in order for you to move your money quickly and efficiently, either on the telephone or online, we set up an electronic link between your ESA and your nominated current account. This link allows deposits and withdrawals to be carried out by Direct Debit, only on your instruction, within 3 to 4 business days.
Money will only be moved in or out of your ESA on your instruction.
