How the quote is calculated

Share prices

This "Quick Quote" service uses prices that are delayed at least 15 minutes. You can also overtype this if you have a target price that you wish to buy or sell at.

Commission

Commission is calculated at 1% of the value of the trade you have entered (except for ISA and Investment Account where different rates and charges are applicable) and therefore may not be 100% accurate. This is only a guide as commission rates can vary dependent on the value of the trade or if a promotional code has been used as part of the trade.

Stamp Duty Reserve Tax

If you are trading a UK equity, you will need to allow for an extra 0.5% cost in addition to the value of the trade.

This is not included in the Quick Quote calculation as trades in overseas stocks are not subject to stamp duty.
