If the sole shareholder or one of the joint shareholders has died, the death
will need to be formally registered before the Postal Share Dealing service can
be used to sell the shares. This can either be done at the same time as submitting
the Postal Share Dealing Form (full details are provided with the form) or click on
the link below for full details.

If you are interested in becoming a Santander shareholder, and would like to hold the shares in the Santander Nominee Service, just call the Shareholder Helpline and ask for a share purchase pack and the terms and conditions to be sent to you.
The value of shares and any income from them, can go down as well as up and you may get back less than you invested. Past performance is not an indicator of future results.
If your personal details need updating on your shareholding, e.g.: change of address, change of name etc. we can do this without any delay to your sale or purchase. Full details of the updates available using this service and the documentation required can be found in the ‘Useful Information’ section of the Postal Share Dealing Form. An additional fee of £50 will be deducted from your sale proceeds or investment amount. This additional charge can be avoided if you update your details before submitting your sale or purchase instruction.
If your shares* are held in the Santander Nominee Service, then they can be sold through Shareview Dealing.
