There are 2 ways you can change the address on your holding.

Barclays Sharestore & BT Easyshare customers please note: We are unable to register any address outside the UK or EEA as this is outside of the terms of this service.

Shareview portfolio is the simplest way to update your address.

Important Information

  • You will need to have an existing Shareview portfolio to change your address online. If you don't have a Shareview portfolio you can register by selecting the 'Register' button
  • Legal representative / Power of Attorney - If you are a legal representative or Power of Attorney for an account, you will only be able to update the address by post
  • Unclaimed payments - Any unclaimed payments on the shareholdings (such as dividends) will be reissued and we may deduct a fee. The fee will depend on the value of the payment(s)
  1. Login to Shareview
  2. Under 'Quick Links' select 'Change my address'
  3. Click 'Change'
  4. Click 'Select all' or the + icon to confirm which of your shareholdings will be altered when changing the address
  5. Input new postcode and click 'Find' then select your new address
  6. Click 'Apply' to selected shareholding

The address will be updated on the shareholdings selected, where Equiniti are Registrars

Login Register

For security, the request needs to be sent by post.

Either download and complete a Change of Address form or send the request on company-headed paper to:

Please ensure that the following information is also included:

  • An instruction and original signature from the authorised corporate signatory stating the capacity in which they sign (such as Director, Secretary, or authorised signatory);
  • The previous and new address; a shareholder can choose any address to which their shareholding(s) is/are to be registered;
  • Name of the company in which the shares are held;
  • Shareholder Reference for that shareholding (this can be found on the share certificate, share statement or on any previous correspondence we have sent you).

We will process your change of address within 10 days of receipt of instruction.
