Time to switch

The Santander Nominee Service has simplified the way it makes dividend payments.

From 1 October 2021, any money payable in connection with your shares can only be paid by direct credit to a bank or building society account.

If you have not provided us with your bank or building society account details, or if the account details we hold for you are not up to date, any cash dividends due to you will be retained. So that the retained payment(s) and future dividends (or any other money payable to you in connection with your Santander shares) can be paid to your account by direct credit, you will need to provide us with your account details.

You can do this in any of the following ways, and you will need your Shareholder Reference and nominated account details to hand.

Online

If you already have a Santander Shareview Portfolio, login to your account and select 'Arrange direct dividend payments’ from the Quick links menu.

If you do not have a Santander Shareview Portfolio, register for an account and once it's activated you can give your instruction.
