If your shares* are held in the Santander Nominee Service, then they can be sold through Shareview Dealing.
Please be aware that this Postal, Online and Telephone Share Dealing Service is offered by Equiniti Financial Services Limited, who operate the Santander Nominee Service for and on behalf of Santander. By clicking on the following link, a second window will appear taking you to the Equiniti Shareview Dealing service. Please click here for details about Shareview Dealing by post, phone or online.
Alternatively, you may also be able to sell your shares through a stockbroker or high-street bank with a share dealing facility.
Please seek professional advice before selling your shares.
The value of shares and the income from them may go down as well as up and you may not get back the full amount of your investment.
*Your investment in Banco Santander, S.A. is recorded electronically in CREST in the form of Crest Depository Interests ("CDI's"). In this text we use "shares" as shorthand for CDIs.
Online
If you already have a Santander Shareview Portfolio, you can login to change your address online.
As long as your shareholding meets certain criteria, the change will take place straightaway.
If you don't have a Santander Shareview Portfolio, you will need to let us know the change by phone or by post. This is
because, as part the Santander Shareview registration process, we send an activation letter to the current registered
address.

If you have unclaimed or uncashed dividend payments or have found an out-of-date dividend cheque, you will need to
contact us and provide your bank account details if you have not already done this so we can send the payment to
you. You may have to pay a fee for their release.
Details can be found on the Request a dividend reissue page.
Our standard policy is to deduct a fee for payments that are reissued. The fee levied for the reissue of a payment goes some way towards covering the administration costs involved in this process. In general, the higher the value of the payment, the higher the associated administration costs. This is because of the increased security checks that must be undertaken. On some occasions, multiple payments may be involved as payments could be issued from different bank accounts. In these circumstances, a fee may be levied for each payment issued.
Fees will normally be deducted before the payment is reissued. You will, therefore, receive the payment minus the applicable fee. Our standard fees for reissuing a payment are listed below.
