Common FAQs
We are pleased to confirm that as of the 26th July 2021, we have moved our Share Registrar to Equiniti Limited (Equiniti). As a result you can no longer access Signal shares (The Link Asset Services Share Portal), to view or update your abrdn shareholder information.
Equiniti (EQ) is a leading provider of share registration services, and we believe that the innovative services EQ deliver will enable you to manage your shareholding efficiently. Due to the move to EQ, you have a new shareholder reference number which you’ll find at the top of your welcome letter. You’ll need your shareholder reference number when you get in touch – either to register online, in writing or by phone – so please keep this safe. You should receive your letter by 13/08/2021, if you don’t, please get in contact.

Developing a single brand was a very necessary exercise for our company to clear up confusion that existed across our multiple brands.
The sale of the Standard Life brand to Phoenix Group, which we announced in February 2021 as part of a simplification and extension of our strategic partnership with Phoenix, helped solve confusion generated by both companies using the name, and also gave us the opportunity to launch a new, single client-facing brand for all our businesses.
‘abrdn’ was chosen for its strong association with the heritage and recognition of our global asset management business across client groups.
We now have one name for our company, one master brand, and a unique and protected identity on digital platforms, such as abrdn.com.
